Social Isolation and Withdrawal

A quick video talking about what social isolation might be like for anyone with a drinking problem.

As you can see above I am settling into the style of isolation chic (a bit like shabby chic, but without the chic part).

  1. Hi, I’ve only signed up today so today is my first day. I need to stop drinking as have been drinking every day since we began isolation. I need to stop now as it’s out of hand.

  2. Thank you for your video. My husband has depression and alcohol dependence. He is in a lot of pain with physical ailments and is drinking a lot more during the lockdown. Whilst me and my child are obviously affected by his actions your video has highlighted some of the ways in which the extra pressure of covid 19 is making him worse and encouraging empathy in me. Thank you.

    1. That’s great Sarah. But don’t forget to have empathy for yourself also. You need to look after yourself in this time and find ways of getting support and handling your frustrations. One obvious way is to share here and use the step by step program.
