I am so pleased to have found this site – two reasons:
Firstly, I hope I’m right in assuming that you were originally Lou Hayles. I’ve had your album “Don’t Hide Away” most of my life and listened to it so often! The songs have been part of my Christian walk most of my life. I think you had an amazing gift for expressing the Lord’s heart for people – these days it might be called a prophetic gift – and I’ve often wondered if that continued in you or if somehow you let go of it.
Anyway, as someone who went through some heavy storms myself (my first wife died and my second was abusive) and finally found my way back to faith, my feet firmly planted on His paths now, I’d just like to thank you for your songs, which helped me through it all, reminding me of His love and faithfulness.
I found your name at last via http://www.crossrhythms.co.uk which led me to this site. The same day, we discovered my step daughter (Nia, 24) is dating an alcoholic. Obviously we are hugely concerned but it is difficult to know how to help. I think we’ll be coming back to this site for advice. 🙂
Much love in Jesus
I have been trying to register on this site but seem to be having problems.
Each time it tells me an account as been created but when it comes to log in, the system does not recognise me .
Can you help please?
So sorry about the issues you are having. I am happy to say that this has been fixed now. So please sign up.
Hi Lou and John
Because of my situation I’d like to give another one off donation with gift aid as we did before if that worked for you?
