We called this website Bottled Up to describe the secrecy that surrounds the drinker and the problems that the family faces.
It is perfectly natural for the family to try and hide these problems as there is a lot of stigma and shame surrounding the issue.
However this secrecy can act against your wishes of a sober partner as the secrecy protects the drinker from having to face the problem.
